Paul Bloxham, HSBC Australia’s Chief Economist, says the incoming Labor government is going to have to “deal with the challenge” of balancing fiscal policy.
“Of balancing, finding the right mix of fiscal policy that achieves the objectives it has in mind,” Mr Bloxham said.
“But at the same time not priming the economy too much because we’ve already got an economy that’s kind of operating at capacity.”
