Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott says this election is “so hard to read” as there doesn’t appear to be “any great move for change”.
“Yes, there’s some disappointment with the government – that’s inevitable when a government has been there for three terms,” Mr Abbott told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
Mr Abbott said he thinks the election will “go down to the wire”.
“It’s still possible for Coalition campaigners to be quite optimistic, notwithstanding the fact that the polls have been against them until very recently.”
